Call us now:
Alberta could not sleep after the midnight session. Though the pastor had not gone into details, the weight of his words left her unsettled. “The final sacrifice must be made tonight… Are you ready to obey completely?” Those words echoed in her mind like thunder.
She tossed on her bed, clutching her pillow tightly. On one side, she felt proud to be singled out for such a spiritual journey. On the other, a small voice whispered, “Why must obedience feel so heavy? Why the secrecy?”
The next morning, she tried to pray, but her words were empty. For the first time, she felt distant from the God she loved. She wondered if this was truly the Spirit leading her—or if she was losing herself in the shadow of her spiritual father’s words.
Yet when Sunday came, the pastor’s sermon rekindled her loyalty. He preached with fire about the danger of rebellion. “The greatest sin,” he shouted, “is disobedience to spiritual authority! Anyone who resists the voice of their father resists God Himself!”
The congregation erupted in applause, some even weeping in fear. Alberta’s heart trembled. Could her doubts mean she was resisting God? Immediately, she silenced her inner questions and whispered, “Lord, forgive me. I will obey.”
After the service, the pastor’s eyes found hers in the crowd. He gave her a small nod, almost as if to say, “Remember what we discussed.” Alberta’s stomach tightened. She felt trapped between faith and fear, honor and hesitation.
That night, as she lay awake, she whispered to herself, “Maybe this is the price of greatness.”
But deep inside, something didn’t feel right.
Days turned into weeks, and Alberta’s visits to the pastor’s office became regular. Each session carried new instructions—long fasts, midnight prayers, strange rituals with oil and water. At first, she questioned them quietly, but each time the pastor silenced her doubts with scriptures twisted to fit his commands.
“Daughter,” he would say, “remember Samuel and Eli. Samuel prospered because he obeyed his spiritual father without question. If you must rise, you must surrender totally.”
Alberta’s heart longed for approval. She told herself this was the price of true discipleship. Soon, her entire schedule revolved around the pastor’s demands. She missed classes, skipped meals, and even neglected her friends—all in the name of obedience.
The pastor, on the other hand, grew bolder. He praised her publicly during church services. “This young woman,” he declared one Sunday, “is a perfect example of submission. No wonder God is preparing to lift her!” The congregation clapped, and Alberta blushed with pride.
But beneath the applause, chains were forming. Alberta felt indebted to the man she called “Papa.” Whenever she hesitated, guilt gripped her like a vice. What if I lose my destiny by disobeying? she often thought.
One evening, after another intense session, the pastor looked at her with a strange seriousness. “Alberta,” he said slowly, “your obedience has brought you far, but the enemy is still resisting. The final stage of your deliverance is near. It will require a deeper level of trust—one most people cannot handle.”
Her stomach knotted. “What do you mean, Papa?”
He smiled faintly, his eyes glimmering with hidden intent. “You will soon understand. Prepare yourself. The Spirit will speak through me.”
Alberta swallowed hard. She wanted to trust—but a shadow of fear crept into her soul.
The following week, Alberta entered the pastor’s office with mixed feelings. Part of her longed for the assurance she once felt in God’s presence; another part feared what new instruction awaited her.
The pastor greeted her warmly, as always. “Daughter, you are growing in the Spirit. I can see your star shining brighter,” he said, laying his hand gently on her shoulder. Alberta forced a smile, though her heart was restless.
He opened his Bible and read in a commanding voice: “Obey them that have rule over you, for they watch for your souls.” Closing the Bible, he fixed his eyes on her. “Do you believe that I watch over your soul?”
“Yes, Papa,” Alberta replied weakly.
“Then understand,” he continued, “sometimes God will ask a man of God to do things that look strange, even foolish, to those who lack understanding. Abraham looked foolish when he raised a knife over his son, but it was the pathway to blessing. Are you ready for such faith?”
Her throat went dry. She hesitated, but under his piercing gaze, she nodded slowly. “I am ready.”
The pastor’s lips curled into a smile. “Good. Tonight, the Spirit has shown me that your final battle is against the spirit of resistance. This spirit hides in your body, and to cast it out, a covenant act must be performed.”
Alberta’s pulse quickened. “What… what act, Papa?”
He leaned closer, lowering his voice. “Do not be afraid. Everything I will ask of you is ordained by the Spirit. You must trust me completely. If you resist, your destiny will remain locked forever.”
Her mind screamed with confusion, yet her mouth remained silent. The room suddenly felt smaller, the air heavier.
She had no idea—his deception was about to reach its peak.
That evening, Alberta returned to the pastor’s office, trembling inside. She told herself she was walking into obedience, yet her spirit felt uneasy.
The office lights were dim, and the air smelled of incense. The pastor was already waiting, clothed in a white robe. On the table lay a bottle of oil, a Bible, and a small bowl of water.
“Welcome, daughter,” he said softly. “Tonight, heaven will mark you for greatness.”
Alberta tried to steady her breathing. “Papa, I am ready to do God’s will.”
He anointed her forehead with oil and began to chant verses mixed with strange words she had never heard before. His voice was commanding, almost hypnotic. Then, pausing, he looked at her with stern eyes.
“To break the spirit of resistance,” he declared, “a covenant of intimacy must be sealed. This is not sin; it is sacrifice. Do not let your carnal mind resist the Spirit.”
Alberta froze. The words pierced her like a knife. “Papa… I don’t understand. How can this be God’s will?” she whispered, fear flooding her chest.
He slammed his hand on the table. “Silence! The natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit. Do you want to remain in bondage forever?”
Tears welled up in Alberta’s eyes. Every part of her felt trapped—afraid to disobey, yet deeply unsettled inside. She remembered his constant warnings: to resist him was to resist God.
As he reached out his hand toward her, Alberta’s heart screamed for help. She didn’t know whether to run or submit.
In that moment, the true face of manipulation was revealed—spiritual language cloaking demonic intent.
Her destiny now hung on a razor’s edge.
